Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to common questions about our weather stations, atomic clocks, and monitoring technology.

How do I synchronize my atomic clock with the NIST radio signal?

To sync your atomic clock, place it near a window facing Fort Collins, Colorado, and ensure it is away from electronic interference like routers or TVs. Most models will automatically search for the WWVB signal overnight between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM.

What is the standard shipping timeframe for orders?

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Standard shipping via ground carriers usually takes 3-7 business days depending on your location within the continental United States.

My outdoor sensor is not reporting data. How can I fix this?

Perform a 'factory restart' by removing batteries from both the sensor and the indoor station for 15 minutes. Insert fresh alkaline batteries into the sensor first, then the station. Allow up to 10 minutes for the units to establish a handshake connection.

What is your return policy for electronic devices?

We offer a 30-day return policy for items purchased directly from our store. Products must be in their original packaging with all included components. Please contact our support team to initiate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
